COMMONWEALTH SHORT STORY PRIZE 2015 NOW OPEN FOR ENTRIES

Are you an aspiring script and story writers? Do you have what it take to be the next big screen writer? The commonwealth short story competition are now receiving entries for 2015 from the general public, this is a great opportunity for you to showcase your writing skills. 

Interested candidates can now register by submitting their short story via the commonwealth online application platform from 15 September to 15 November 2014 (12 noon GMT).


Each year, the commonwealth writers organisation selects five winning writers from five different Commonwealth regions in Africa. The overall winner gets £5,000 and regional winners are entitled to £2,500.

The Commonwealth Short Story Prize encourages you to write and submit your unpublished story of 2000 - 5000 words. 

Entry is free.

Deadline: 15 November, 2014
