A well-read man: Aliko Mohammad Dangote



Aliko Mohammad Dangote is unquestionably a huge inspiration to a lot of Nigerians including myself. This self made billionaire has shown his leadership and philanthropy nature in many situations such as his latest donation of 150 million Naira towards the fight of the spread of the Ebola virus in Nigeria. Dangote is indeed doing the African continent proud.

His biography titled "Aliko Mohammad Dangote: The Biography of the Richest Black Person in the World "by Moshood Ademola Fayemiwo and Margie Marie Neal got an overwhelming amount of reviews from both national and international media, book critics and authors globally.This biography is certainly a must read.

Equally, in his usual manner Dangote recently announced it's sponsorship of the prestigious ‘Facetime’ segment on CNN Marketplace Africa, a CNN International show that offers a unique window into African business.

He further stated that “Africa has made tremendous progress on the economic front in the last decade and has become one of the fastest growing regions in the world – home to six of the top ten fastest growing economies in the world. Africa also offers one of the highest rates of return on investment in the world, a fact that discerning foreign investors have since acknowledged. So if you want to be a giant in business, like Dangote, you must not only pray for a big break, you must seek it out and be well prepared for it when it comes.
