DigitalBack Books introduces Virtual Literary Library on the go

In their bid to confront the challenges in the publishing industry in Africa, especially Nigeria and to further combat high production costs, heavily pirated books, lack of adequate infrastructure, poorly or inappropriately stocked distribution outlets among other issues, founder of Digitalback books, Gersy Ifeanyi Ejimofor and a team of scholars recently introduced a virtual digital library that allows readers access books from writers across Africa.

The new ebook subscription platform allows readers access to a comprehensive collection of books written on Africa, about Africa or by African writers.

With the up-rise of eBooks in Africa and around the world, the Digitalback books initiative is definitely a welcome idea.

With as little as N2,500 monthly and N24,000 annual subscription, readers on Digitalback will have unlimited access to several African authored books.

Subscribed readers will be granted access on smartphones, tablets or desktops that are iOS and Android enabled.
